So, you’re looking for a fresh pair of boxing shoes?
The Fighter Mind Team was in the exact same situation, which is why we decided to give Hayabusa a go. Recently I have been using the Everlast Low Pivt, which has been a fine experience, but I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the design. Cornelious has also been using a pair of Everlast, but they were not very durable, so after just 2 months, they were all worn out….
Therefore we had to try the two best looking Hayabusa shoes – to see if they were any good!
Now, let’s get into the good stuff! – The Review.
Did They Meet Our High Expectations?
Our short answer must be: Yes.
We received the shoes shortly after we decided to give them a go. Furthermore, the packaging were top notch. So far – so good.
Both of the shoes felt absolutely fine and I don’t doubt the quality of the shoes. They Fit a bit more big than other boxing shoes, so we’d probably recommend half a size down. Other than that, they seemed, felt and looked good.
So, now there was nothing else to do, than start moving around a give em’ a rip! We began pivoting, stepping and so on.
To accurately rate the Hayabusa Boxing shoes, we’ll rate them in 5 categories, where we’ll give them between 1 and 5 stars. Let’s go!
Hayabusa – Talon Boxing Shoes – Check Them Here
Let’s get real. Here’s our honest review after using the Talon Boxing Shoes several times.
Design: 3,5/5⭐
This is a very personal opinion, which means you might disagree. But we found the design to be just a bit over average, when it came to the design. This is very preference-based, so it doesn’t affect performance.
Durability: 4,5/5⭐
So far, they have been very durable. The shoes hasn’t recieved any damage yet. This might come down to the fact, that we purely use our boxing shoes for boxing. Furthermore, we never take the shoes outside. Therefore, we believe that the shoes will be super durable, if you strictly use them for boxing(As they were meant to).
Ability To Move/Flexiblity: 5/5⭐
We haven’t been restricted the slightest when it comes to our ability to move. Pivoting and stepping feels easy and overall footwork feels perfect.
Affordability: 3,5/5⭐
These shoes are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. These shoes go for 149$, which is in the higher end. If you have the budget, it’s definetely worth it. If you don’t you might wanna look at the Pro Boxing Shoes.
Comfortability: 4,5/5⭐
They feel great and it isn’t a problem to spend hours of training, while wearing them. Overall Pretty good. The sole is a bit different compared to many other brands, which you just have to get used to. The Hayabusa sole makes it easier for the foot to breath, so it’s definetely an upside.

Design: 4,5/5⭐
Personally, we really like the design on these badboys. They currently come in 4 colorways and all of them look rather nice!
Durability: 3,5/5⭐
They haven’t been worn out so far. They feel very durable, but we have to acknowledge that the quality feels slightly lower than the Talon shoes. This might not be a disadvantage, but we’ll give it a 3,5/5.
Ability To Move/Flexiblity: 5/5⭐
We haven’t been restricted the slightest when it comes to our ability to move. Pivoting and stepping feels easy and overall pretty perfect.
Affordability: 4/5⭐
These shoes come at a slightly lower price. It’s currently set at 119$, which is pretty reasonable in our opinion.
Comfortability: 4,5/5⭐
These shoes are very comfortable, but you have to get used to the sole. The same comfortability as the Talon Boxing Shoes.
Which One Do We Prefer?
If you have the budget to go all out on a pair of boxing shoes, we recommend the Talon Boxing Shoes. They are a bit more expensive, but they also feel and look like the slightly better choice, when it comes to quality.
If I were a regular amateur boxer or someone who just does boxing as a hobby, I’d recommend the Pro Boxing Shoes. They do the job and look great at the same time.
I have purchased the Hayabusas as well and I am more than pleased with the quality and design! Got the Talon’s because of the slightly better quality 🙂
